About the Event

This information and exercise evening is geared towards female athletes. We'll be talking about core and pelvic floor as it relates to lifting, running, and other impact activities. It's well understood that many female weight lifters and athletes have high rates of pelvic floor dysfunction, including incontinence and prolapse. What if it didn't need to be that way? Education will be provided on core function, breathing, alignment, and pelvic floor/core coordination techniques. We'll also discuss when women should resume intensity training following childbirth, and signs that may indicate your body is not quite ready. We're FOR healthy women! Cost is $10 and registration is open to ALL.
