About the Event

Please join us for an intimate seminar series designed especially for women living with persistent pelvic pain. So often, women with pelvic pain suffer in silence and do not receive the appropriate education or support needed to effectively manage their symptoms.  You don't need to feel alone, and you don't need to suffer. There is so much hope and we're looking forward to sharing it with you.

Even if you were not able to attend Part 1 you can still join us for the second workshop.

Part 2 will be held Thursday, March 26th at the Balmoral Community Hall (39 26575 Highway 11) This 2 hour workshop will be led by Physiotherapist and PhysioYoga pioneer, Shelly Prosko. Shelly is a well respected international speaker and lecturer on yoga practices and compassion or peristent pain. She has recently co-authored the book "Yoga and Science in Pain Care" and will incorporate her expertise as well as theories learned in seminar 1 to build with you practical skills for managing pelvic pain through movement, breath and mindfulness. This will be a gentle session and consist of mindfulness practices, practices to increase awareness of and connection to the PF, breathing practices, gentle/mindful movement and is suitable for beginners or any level. Ending with relaxation, we invite you to join us for some well deserved self-care. Please bring a blanket, yoga mat, and any other  props you may wish to use. You can learn more about Shelly and access her blog and other therapeutic resources through her website at https://physioyoga.ca/home

We have been wanting to provide this resource in Central Alberta for a very long time, and are so excited to be able to bring you the information, skills, hope and possibility to help you move forward with healing.

Investment is $40. Please share or bring a friend.
